Item 1: "The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) subsidized over 100,000 apartments for tenants who do not meet work or community service requirements, costing taxpayers at least $37 million."
Item 2: "Dozens of federal employees at an obscure agency that handles appeals of patent applications went years with so little work to do that they collected salaries — and even bonuses — while they surfed the Internet, did laundry, exercised and watched television...."
The Obama regime also granted $1.5 million to a legal group that advocates killing the police. The good news is that thanks to the sequester, federal spending as a percentage of GDP fell below 20% from a high of 24% in 2011. I am also pleased to note that the House GOP voted 240-179 to repeal the death tax.
