Greece Deserves a "Humiliating Deal"

Any group of people foolish enough to vote for a gang of Far Left lunatics to govern their country deserve whatever humiliation that comes their way.

Of course, that doesn't mean the deal is good. Far from it. Like the previous bailout packages of 2010 and 2012, this deal will only further undermine Greece.  While austerity is both good and necessary, the tax increases will only choke off economic growth. The 2 previous bailout packages already spent a collective 227 billion euros. What makes anyone think a new infusion of 86 billion euros will suddenly solve the Greek problem? Indeed, the problem that plagues Greece is profligate spending. Offering them more money is akin to providing more alcohol to an alcoholic and hope he will quit. As this bailout packages resembles its 2 predecessors, expect a new Greek crisis within 2-3 years.

It has been said that the definition of insanity is to repeat the same actions over and over again in hope of a new result. By that definition, this bailout plan is insane. But then again, for a people insane enough to elect Far Left lunatics to govern them, perhaps this insane package is fitting after all.
