Snapshots of the Chinese Economy

Capital flight from China may be intensifying.  There are an estimated $34 billion that left the country in 2011Q3 and another $100 billion in the following quarter.  In the past 6 years, Chinese demand for soybeans doubled to 70 million tons while its domestic production declined to 14 million tons.
